hey anyone can tell zitong to upload 'That girl' video here so that everyone can take a look at the dance. it's by 2 counsellors though.. hope u all can view it before u all come for practice on friday. And please do come for practice for the next 3 practices coz it will really make nashita's job easier. also it wont waste others' time for coming down. :) it's our sl project so please play a part in it by at least coming for rehearsals okie? it'll be over soon!

btw, if u're still not sure, we're doing 4 dances: borriquito, it's gonna be me, that girl (will never be mine) and mambo. so we still have a lot to catch up plus the songs in the previous entry. so let's jiayou!!! we can do it if we want to!

I got something to announce...
Collected $5 from everyone for the past two weeks.
So total $115 (zt need nt pay)
Overall total :$128.30
But then... thanks to all the notes especially PHY + GP...
We are left $9.50. w0w the GP notes(those thick thick ones u all received a few weeks back) alone cost $98 in total(original $103 bt minus off $5)..
So ya. $9.50. And god knows what other notes we need to pay.
So how?
LoL. Sorry but theres no other choice....... =x

To all REPS: Please claim the money each time u collected the notes. Please do not let the cost accumulate and claim it all in one shot. The classfund will just suffer from a severe shortage. :x

Yesterday , 22 april 06 is AJ FAMILY DAY! It was supposingly a great day, cos if u realised, juz take out the word April and what will it give u?? The great 22/06!! :D

Im wondering, as quoted from I`m not stupid 2, Family can also stands for Father And Mother I Love You. However, how come no-one brought their daddies and mummies along to express their love for them? TSK. HAHA.

I heard the average number of pple who signed up for NYAA in other classes is about 5 to 8 people
our class got 20 people signing up for NYAA!!!
and we are all doing silver!!!
except for desmond who is doing gold
let's start arranging some class CIP projects after the common tests to fufil the 30 hours most of us require (60 hrs for Desmond)
I am sure the CIP rep feels very bored now and wants a job
btw if u all still dunno the CIP rep is Leon

neway AJC Service Learning is supposed to provide us with 15 hours of CIP
I got no idea wad dat is but i think our yearly CIP project is included in those 15 hrs
so we just need to do about 2 more CIP projects to finish the other 15 hrs

This is just a post on future updates to be expected
To improve communications and increase efficency, there will be a message relay system set up to spread reminders or announcements
for example, when there is a message to be sent to the whole class, i will sms shirley, desmond, marcus and jia min who will foward the message to the rest of the people in their group which will consist of the rest of the class

On the other hand, regarding family day, we are settling on the sudoku games
therefore, i need the class's assistance in gathering sudoku puzzles for the upcoming event next saturday
please visit http://www.websudoku.com to help gather puzzles.
We need everyone to gather at least 2 "easy" puzzles, 2 "medium" puzzles 2 "hard" puzzles and 2 "evil" puzzles each
please place each puzzle in 1 file and email it to me at laixinchu@gmail.com
the file should contain the original puzzle and the answer to the puzzle
An example of a submitted puzzle can be found at

Type of booth: Games

Description of game:
This game is "Unlock the LockS"
Each player will be provided with 10 locks and 20 keys. Within the given time of 30 s, a player will have to unlock as many locks as possible. If the player is capable of unlocking all 10 locks, he will be awarded Prize A. For unlocking 5 locks and above, he will be rewarded with Prize B. For unlocking 5 locks and below, he will be rewarded with Prize C.

Estimated budget: roughly $50 -70

Requests for equipment or other comments:

Proposal 2:
Type of booth: Games

Description of game:
this is a games stall which holds sudoku challenges. Players can choose the different puzzles at different difficulty levels - namely Easy, Medium, Hard and Evil, and the prizes are given according to the time they spend on each puzzle<5 min wins prize A<7.5 min wins prize B<10 min wins prize Cthen the rest wins a simple prize to thank for participationBetter prizes for people trying the "Evil" level, perhaps 2 of Prize A, etc etc...

so we hv come up with a games proposal by jewel

i hv just thought of another proposal myself too
we can set up a games stall which holds sudoku challenges
i believe many pple love challenging these puzzles
then we can set up a 100% win system to attract people
mayb $1 per try
then we get many diff puzzles
the prizes are given according to the time they spend on each puzzle
mayb something like :
<5 min wins prize A
<7.5 min wins prize B
<10 min wins prize C
then the rest wins a simple prize to thank for participation

den those pple who love challenges might be interested to try different puzzles too
prize A will cost about $1.50 ~ $2
prize B costs about $1 ~ $1.50
while prize C costs around $0.50 to $1
then the consolation prize can be nething...mayb <10 cents ea

those pple who hv done sudoku puzzles shld know that while simple ones can be tackled in 5 min those intermediate ones can take over 10 min to solve
this is a gd suggestion to me cos the 100% win will attract pple =)
Also, i can get 4 different levels of difficulties of puzzles from the Sudoku website, namely Easy, Medium, Hard and Evil
i think we can also offer better prizes for people trying the "Evil" level, maybe something like 2 of Prize A
this will attract pple but its very unlikely that many pple will finish a puzzle at that difficulty level in a short time
So many pple will do the hardest level at the 1st try but will fail, then we encourage them to try an easier level to win something
This is my perspective, however

Regarding the group proposal with 21/06, i suggest that if 21/06 plans to go ahead with the balloons, we can use their balloons as one of the prizes while they can recommend pple to our stall for free balloons as a prize
of cos after that we will help cover the costs for both classes as we will be definitely drawing in more profit

Neway we also have to pay $6 each for coupons for family day
please pay $6 to Jewel asap

hihi. i like the choice of blog template! very colorful and lively.

i think the buddy list thing is stupid. other class have anot?? cause this reminds me of cat high primary where all the little primary 1s got to have a buddy to BABYSIT THEM.

is this primary school all over again? i think it is extremely unfair to blame another person if you never do homework. if we dont do hw shouldnt it be our own decision?? quoting from AHEM mrs Y, "you all are responsible for your own learning" I think this buddy list is just a system to compel us to do our homework, making it seem so cooperative and friendly on the surface. even if it works we just be "guai" cause we don't want to harm our fellow classmates.
